Sheffer emphasised that by listening to customers' needs and working together, they can deliver products and services that truly make a difference, since "great things happen when we partner together".

Between 7 June and 5 September 2025, 183 detections of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) A(H5) virus were reported, 156 in wild birds and 27 in domestic poultry, across 15 European countries. Although HPAI A(H5N1) virus detections were predominant in western and south-western Europe, they also occurred along the northernmost coast of Norway. In order of significance during this period, the leading countries in terms of detections were the United Kingdom (excluding Ulster) with 60, Spain (16), the Netherlands (16) and Portugal (15), with the majority involving wild birds. A map of Europe shows that almost all detections occurred along western European migratory flyways. More than 75% of detections in wild birds were associated with breeding seabirds in colonies, particularly European herring gulls.
