FIGAN 2025 brings together more than 400 exhibitors with a strong presence from the poultry sector

Table of Contents

The International Fair for Animal Production (FIGAN 2025), held from 25 to 28 March at Feria de Zaragoza, reaches its 17th edition with record figures and a clear commitment to innovation, knowledge and the creation of opportunities for the entire livestock sector. With more than 1,121 exhibiting brands, from more than 400 exhibiting companies, from 25 countries, and an exhibition space of 64,591 square metres spread across six halls, FIGAN is consolidating its position as one of the most relevant events in southern Europe for the agri-livestock sector.

One of the sectors with the greatest prominence will be the poultry sector, which will have a significant presence both in terms of the number of exhibitors and in the content of the technical sessions. Companies specialising in poultry equipment, housing, genetics, animal health and nutrition will occupy a prominent position in the halls of Feria de Zaragoza, forming a key meeting point for professionals, technicians and veterinarians in the sector.

A 360° trade fair with an eye on the future of farming

During the official presentation of the event, the President of Feria de Zaragoza, Jorge Villarroya, highlighted the strategic role of FIGAN as an economic driver for Aragón and an international showcase for livestock farming, while the event director, Fernando Cidraque, underlined the fair’s 360° nature: “We bring together all the technology the sector needs: from traditional machinery to state-of-the-art solutions in sensing, digitalisation, nutrition, genetics and integration.”

The event will not be merely an exhibition, but an environment designed to share knowledge, build contacts and generate added value. The Technical Sessions and Activities programme will address key topics such as animal welfare, sustainability, disease control and Industry 4.0 applied to animal production. In this context, the poultry sector will also have dedicated spaces in which the technological evolution and future challenges for poultry operations will be discussed.

Initiatives that connect the sector

FIGAN 2025 also introduces new initiatives aimed at energising the livestock sector and addressing current challenges. These include:

  • FIGAN Conecta Talento (28 March): an employment fair bringing together companies and candidates specialising in animal production.
  • FIGAN Jóvenes Ganaderos: a round table with young agri-influencers to debate generational succession, digitalisation and entrepreneurship in farming.
  • Dairy Forum: although focused on milk production, this forum will also analyse cross-cutting issues such as sustainability, nutrition and digital transformation applicable to the entire livestock sector, including poultry.

An Organising Committee with a strong presence of institutions and companies

The leading institutions, associations and other bodies related to the agri-livestock sector are represented on the FIGAN Organising Committee, thereby demonstrating their support for the event. In this way, in addition to serving as a showcase presenting the latest technological advances, it brings together all the expertise of the livestock industry in a single space.
