Avícola Padrino Sierra, S.L. receives ERDF funding in support of the conversion to organic, free-range and floor-rearing systems.
The Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, through the Department of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the European Social Fund, has granted Avícola Padrino Sierra, S.L. aid intended for the Extensification of Poultry Farms, in support of the conversion to organic, free-range and floor-rearing systems.

This aid is included under sub-measure 4.1 of the Castilla-La Mancha RDP 2014-2020, aimed at meeting the following European Union rural development priorities: Priority 2: Improving the viability and competitiveness of all types of farming and promoting innovative agricultural technologies and sustainable forest management; and Priority 5: Promoting resource efficiency and fostering the shift towards a low-carbon economy resilient to climate change in the agricultural, food and forestry sectors.

AVICOLA PADRINO SIERRA SL (formerly AVICOLA PADRINO SIERRA SA ) with VAT number B19037043 and registered office in Villaluenga de La Sagra (Toledo) was acquired (50% of its share capital) in 2006 by the Valencia-based GRUPO HUEVOS GUILLEN.
