How to make the most of every hour at VIV Europe 2026
June 2–4 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. A practical guide to planning your schedule—starting with the interactive map that lets you explore every booth, hall, and sector before you even leave home.
Just days before its opening, VIV Europe 2026 returns to Utrecht as one of the world’s leading references for the “feed to food” chain. Nearly 600 exhibitors from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with 100% of the venue sold out and around 20,000 international visitors expected. Three days might sound like a lot… until you set foot in the hall. Touring the show without a plan is the quickest way to waste the most profitable days of the year.

The interactive map: your visit begins before you travel
The organizers have released the updated interactive map of VIV EUROPE, which can be accessed at https://europe.viv.net/visit/floorplan or directly at https://viveurope.expofp.com/ placing every booth, hall, and sector in the palm of your hand. It lets you locate the must-see exhibitors, plot routes, and string together meetings without a single misstep.

This interactive map, combined with the contact platform VISIT Discover , turns improvisation into strategy: planning no longer happens on the ground but starts days in advance. This official networking platform saves visitors from having to install yet another app on their phone.

Day 1 — Get your bearings
Devote the first day to reading the lay of the land. Walk the full circuit of halls, attend the opening conferences—this year, more than 70 sessions address artificial intelligence, antimicrobial resistance, sustainability, and new markets—and schedule next day’s meetings right there on the spot. With the map already studied, you’ll know which booths deserve a second visit.
Day 2 — Dig deeper
The show’s energy peaks midway through: decision-makers are receptive, demonstrations run at full capacity, and the marquee sessions fill up. Block off three or four meetings for the morning—the exhibitors’ senior staff are still present—and chain them together. With the first day’s context behind you, your questions will be sharper. And set aside time for informal networking: many valuable connections are born over a drink.

Leave with follow-ups, not business cards
The classic mistake is leaving with a handful of business cards or syncing QR codes and no notes at all. Connect on LinkedIn before leaving the venue and, after each meeting, jot down in your CRM why that connection interests you. Follow up within the first 48 hours, while the conversation is still fresh. A business card on its own won’t remind you of the context three days later.
The interactive floor plan turns improvisation into strategy: your visit begins before you travel.
Three well-planned days are worth an entire year of catching up. Start with the map.
