The Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of Spain and the Spanish Poultry Meat Interprofessional Organisation (AVIANZA) renew their agreement for promotion in international markets
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) reinforces its commitment to promoting the consumption of poultry meat in domestic and international markets through the renewal of its agreement with the Spanish Poultry Meat Interprofessional Association (Avianza), which has a budget, contributed by MAPA, of 127,500 euros for 2024 and 2025.
The renewal of the agreement, by means of a resolution published on the 11th in the Official State Gazette, forms part of the Ministry’s support policy under the Alimentos de España strategy, aimed at improving the competitiveness of the Spanish food sector.
Among the planned activities, participation in the international trade fair Gulfood 2025 in Dubai stands out as one of the key pillars for driving the internationalisation of Spanish poultry meat. There will also be a reverse mission of international buyers at the Meat Attraction 2025 trade fair in Madrid. In addition, five international trade missions and other actions aimed at analysing the Asian market for the promotion of poultry products have been planned.
With the renewal of the agreement, both parties reinforce their collaboration and commitment to the development of the Spanish agri-food sector, and strengthen its presence and recognition in the main international markets.
The agreement will remain in force until the end of 2025 and may be extended for a further four years

The agreement will remain in force until 30 November 2025, with the possibility of extension for a maximum of four additional years, provided both parties agree.
